Description:
Billy is a super sweet hound dog who was found in the middle of a handicapped parking space; unresponsive and on the brink of death. After having his finder and savior rush him to the emergency veterinary clinic, it was discovered that he had a horrid hookworm infestation, and was so dehydrated that he wouldn’t have made it through the night. This sweet boy is only about 5 years old, and he almost didn’t live to see another sunrise.

Now, Billy is officially healthy and ready to begin his next great adventure with a family all of his own! His foster says that he is very sweet, and that he is a typical hound. He would require a high fenced in yard where he will be supervised when out for potty breaks. He will need a strong handler with experience with both hounds and escape artists. When inside, Billy will require supervision. He wears a belly band due to a tendency to hike. If not carefully watched, Billy will jump up onto any surface he can i.e. tables, chest of drawers, dressers, etc…. Billy is good with cats, as well as dogs both big and small. It is unknown how he would do with kids.
