MISO was rescued after being hit by a car, it tore off part of his ear. But the event did not hurt his heart, he bounced back and this handsome boy is learning to trust humans again.  

He is a good candidate for training, where he will be tested with children, other dogs, learn obedience and many skills. He is somewhat reserved and is confidence is growing daily; who ever adopts him must be experienced with the Husky temperament. They are known for their independence, sense of adventure and being an escape artist when bored. A secure yard is a must but these are pack dogs and love human interaction, they like to be in the middle of everything. They are free-spirited and typically good-natured with people. Miso is athletic, playful, and light on his feet. He loves being outdoors and requires significant daily exercise, especially in cold weather. He is not a dog to be relegated to the back yard alone day in day out! This young dog would love to be with an athletic fur-parent, teaching him how to trot next to your bicycle for example. 

Miso thrives on a real whole food diet, low in carbs. Raw food diet is a plus! He likes to be right in the middle of things and enjoys human interaction. He does have a prey drive so small dogs and cats (or chickens) is not a good idea. Several trainers have stepped up willing to work with Miso and his future adopter together, we would be happy to make recommendations.
