Description:
Micah wants a new home. He hopes he will be the only dog because he wants the get all the love, lap time, attention, and petting. He actually enjoys playing and interacting with other dogs, but he just doesn’t want them around his mom. He’s a very good boy. Loves to just hang out. Play with toys, just be with you all the time.
He’s about six years old and is fully vetted. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchip. He is in the prime of his life and is an agile energetic little dog. We hope someone will adopt him that can take him for short walks and play with him.
Micah is heartworm positive and will require an Advantage Multi every month. It does not slow him down.
If you have never had a Jack Russell before he’s probably not going to be the right dog for you. He’s super smart and very engaging. Sometimes JRTs “own their owners” !!!
His new home needs to have a securely fenced yard. We will visit your home to check it out. You must also have a good vet reference.
No kids. No cats. No other dogs. No shipping. The adopter must be able to drive to Shreveport to get him.
His adoption fee is 276 dollars. Please fill out the online application on www.russellrescue.com.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
