Heres Ripley, a roughly one-and-a-half-year-old, 61-pound, Labrador/Great Dane/Boxer mix fellow who is a real rockstar dog.

Howdy guys!! My name is Ripley!! Im not one to toot my own horn but, TOOT TOOT, I am a magnificent pup! (my foster mom tells me every day).

I am a handsome hunk who really enjoys the outdoors.
I like to go for a daily run, walk, hike, or swim, you name it!! I run about a 3 miles a day with my foster dad!!

I am eager to please my humans so I try to catch on to commands quickly!

I am super tough on my toys, so I require kong or other heavy-made toys(no squeakers, I hate those the most)!!

I am a softy and enjoy fleece blankets (only the softest) that I can curl up on and take a restful nap at the end of the day and at night.

I have a goofy side that just makes everyone laugh! I once saw tears rolling down my foster moms face!! I was on a roll that day and was jumping around throwing my toy up in the air!

Does your family have room for a big goofball athlete??

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT.
If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
