Meet Buster, 70-pound Labrador hunk of a guy who is just over 2 1/2 years old.

If Buster were writing his own profile he would tell you this about himself "Hi! My name is Buster and I am a SNUGGLEHOLIC!! I dont care that I am large, if I see an open lap, I am laying down!! You just cant stop me! My foster mom says I am like a bull in a china shop! For that reason, small kids would not be a good match as I might knock them over with my excitement and excess of love! But she also calls me Big Hearted Buster because I am so sweet and kind! I absolutely LOVE THE WATER! All kinds of water, from rain, the waterhose, in a pool, in a water bowl....I will play in it all!!! I am always happy to see and meet new people. I sometimes tend to be bossy with other canines, but I am never aggressive. I will play with any toys and I do get the zoomies! I have a ton of personality and would make a wonderful couch companion too. What do you say? Want to look at my handsome face and get all my snuggles?"

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT.
If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
