Fido and Fluffys Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to re-homing abandoned animals from throughout the Mid West and Puerto Rico. Therefore, we can’t guarantee the dog’s breed or predict the full grown size or weight. We do our best to answer questions in a timely manner; however, some answers are unknown because we don’t know. Although we usually deal with dogs and concentrate on rescuing chihuahuas, we are also able to take in cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other small animals from time to time.

All of our animals are seen by a veterinarian where they receive a wellness exam, age appropriate vaccines, are heartworm tested (treated if necessary) have a fecal check (treated if necessary), and are spayed/neutered before going to their fur-ever homes. Every animal is kept on monthly heartworm and flea/tic prevention and is professionally groomed!

Most of our dogs have come from the streets, previous neglect and abusive situations, or we have no background information at all. The breed(s) listed for the adoptable animal is a guess. We can not guarantee the breed of the dog listed especially if it is a puppy it could grow up to be a variety of breeds or grow up to be a weight way over or under our guess. If you are looking for a particular breed it is best to adopt an adult animal so we can better tell what breed(s) it is.

Please be aware that we are primarily a small dog rescue and our dogs may not be potty trained. If you are looking for a small perfectly potty trained dog we can not guarantee it. Sometimes there is a lot of work needed to put into the rescue companion but it is so worth it!

Fido and Fluffy is a 100% volunteer foster based rescue. We don’t have a facility or any paid employees. All our adoptable dogs are in foster homes. We adopt dogs by appointment only at the Washington Twp., Tractor Supply store.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
