Bellingham, WA, 98228
Pet name:
Labrador Retriever
Richard is a large lovable six month old lab-Shepard- border collie mix. He had a rough start to life. Richard came from a litter of puppies who were dropped off the at the shelter needing sever medical care. They had terrible mange and were very sick. After the shelter veterinary staff worked hard to get this litter healthy enough to leave the shelter, they joined Happy Tails Happy Homes so they could find their forever home.

Richard is a big cuddle bug! All he wants to do is be around people and get love. Richard is very excited to meet new people and thinks everyone is his new best friend. He also loves playing with other dogs. You can find Richard running around the yard happily with a toy in his mouth. Richard has a good amount of energy so would do well with a family who is active or has a plan for getting Richard plenty of chances to run. Richard has come a long way in his training in a short amount of time. He is doing well on the leash and wants so badly to please. Richard is a sweet happy guy who will make any family happy!

If you are interested in Richard joining your family, please fill out an application at and we’ll arrange a meet and greet.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
