Available for adoption in New England: Bolt!

Meet the handsome Bolt, who is about 1 year of age and 55 pounds. He looks like a Lab mix, maybe with a little Spaniel in him. 

Bolt is a beautiful boy! He is very mild and has shown no aggression with humans or other dogs. In fact, he loves other dogs!! He is under-socialized and is shy. He keeps his kennel clean, knowing to do his business outside, but would need some training and patience adapting to a new home. 

Bolt is ready for a family that will be patient with his shyness and continue to work on socialization with him. He would do very well in a family who has another dog, one who is a leader that can show him the ropes and help him build his confidence. He would be fine with older kids who know to be respectful.

Rescuing a shyer dog who hasn’t had life easy is so rewarding!! It’s amazing to watch a dog just blossom over time and evolve into a happy and relaxed life-long companion!!!

Because Bolt is young, he of course will need continued training and opportunity for play and exercise.
