Meet Cal! He is a playful and active guy who is looking for love. He is confused as to why he is homeless, has no family and is currently living in a shelter. Cal was picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer. He arrived at the shelter with next to no manners, he has no idea how big and strong he is. Cal is a giant ball of mush who learns very quickly. He knows sit and is always looking to please you. As soon as you go outside he goes to the bathroom but as with any change in situation and environment there might be a learning curve. He loves toys, is very curious, enjoys a good bone, a comfy bed and will entertain himself. He will love you with all of his heart, he is big and goofy but he will need a strong handler to continue teaching him and guiding him through the training process as he weighs in at 90 pounds and can be jumpy and pulls on leash. Cal will require a meet and greet with another dog, no cats please , and he would do best with kids over the age of 14. Could you be Cals person? Again he is 90 pounds, one year old, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. If you are interested in meeting Cal please fill out our Matchmaker Adoption application so we may arrange a meet and greet for you.
