In shelter Dog

Chelsea, AL, 35043
Pet name:
Cena (WWE Litter)
Labrador Retriever
Coat length:
The WWE litter came to us in November 2021. They were born to a stray, known as Lilly, whom we have been trying to catch for going on 3 years. She has outsmarted every plan we have had as well as many others whom have tried to help. She was abandoned when her owners moved away 3 years ago and no one has been able to get her since. One of our fosters lives close to where Lilly lives and she has been going everyday for 3 years to feed her and try to befriend her. We got a call from our foster in October about this litter being born. We left the pups with Lilly to nurse until they began playing closer to the road. So in November we went to get them. They were just as skittish as their mom and put up one heck of a fight for 6-8 week old pups. It took us over 2 hours in the middle of the night to catch 3 pups. And that is how they got their name, The WWE litter, because of the WWE Smackdown they put on us. They have come out of their shell a some, but still needs some more TLC to bring them out.
Cena is 10 months old and the shyest of the litter. He is very loving and affectionate, but he needs a lot of reassurance to get comfortable, but when he does he will be your buddy for life. His beautiful spots and puppy dog eyes make you want to hug him up. He plays well with other dogs and loves rolling and tumbling with his foster brothers and sisters in the yard. He is a very laid back pup with a mild activity level. He is house broken and crate trained. He is still trying to learn some leash manners. He is best suited for a fenced yard to give him some security of his own.
