Description:
Hi, Im SAMSON, a male, 47 pound, heartworm-negative Lab-mix!

* I am super affectionate, kinda goofy, and love spending time with humans
* When I showed up at the shelter, I had metal in my stomach, a broken toe, and a bullet hole in my back leg
* With some vet care, time, and a lot of love, Im a new man!
* The vet looked at the metal in my stomach and decided the risk of removal did not justify taking it out so they left it and it doesnt bother me at all. You should see me run in the play yard now that I feel better!
* In spite of a body that tells the story of some hard times, the humans say I have the most trusting, happiest, and most grateful spirit
* I love giving kisses and wiggle like crazy when I get pets!
* I thrive and am joyful when I get to go on walks and spend time with humans
* I like other dogs! My best friend here is Boo
* Did you notice Im heartworm negative? Thats kind of a miracle in shelters, so someone loved, vetted me regularly, and took care of me before my wounds. That may explain my happy, trusting nature!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
