Description:
Morty Marshmallow got his name because he is big, white and squeezable like a marshmallow! And trust me, once you meet him you will want to hug and squeeze him too!
Morty had a rough start though. He was on a shelter euthanasia list when our rescue pulled him to save his life. Morty was sick with heartworms when he came into rescue but went through treatment like a champ! Now, he is just ready to live the easy life as a part of a family.

Morty loves to cuddle and snuggle. Everyone loves this guy and he loves every person too!\xa0He is easygoing and friendly to people and dogs. During dog playgroup, you will find him roaming around or at the feet of the staff asking for loves. Morty gravitates towards the younger dogs. We call him the puppy whisperer! Morty is definitely King of the Pride. He observes what everyone is doing, checks up on the groups of dogs playing, makes sure everyone is doing good and moves on to his next duties.

Morty Marshmallow is an easygoing guy that doesnt let things bother him. He would be a good dog to take to a dog friendly brewery because he would just hang out by your side. He is great on the leash and doesnt pull (despite his large size currently 75 pounds) This boy makes people turn heads with his gentle, collected, demeanor and fluffy coat. He says he is ready for his own Instagram! Morty Marshmallow takes treats gently too! Are you ready to adopt the ultimate chill, friendly, cuddle bug? Apply at the link below!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
