Description:
Meet Ozzi. A 70 lb ball of joy that is sure to give you your daily dose of seratonin! I dont know about you, but waking up to a doggy smile, little wet nose, and tail wagging a hundred miles a minute are the best way to start the day! Oh...and lets not get started with splooting-- this boy is a splooting champ! Guaranteed to make you smile at every sprawl!

Ozzi is a sweet, goofy 1 1/2 year old boy who lives to hangout and sunbathe in the yard. He walks well on leash, plays well alone and with his people, and is always up for a good belly rub and arguably one of the best cuddlers! He is combination of laid back/low energy and world class zoomies/play. He is such a happy dog and on the hunt for a lucky person to share his contagious energy with!

Oz knows his basic commands, learns quickly with positive reinforcement and works very hard to be the best boy. He has excellent training potential, which is perfect because he is seeking a home where he can continue his training, get regular exercise and have access to good puzzles, sturdy chew toys and distractions-- all his favorite!! He crates well when needed and will seek out his crate or bed when overstimulated and needs a break-- SMART boy!

This wonderful boy loves a car ride, is house trained, familiar with using a dog door and currently lives a a confident cat whom he loves. He has attended doggy day care and loves to play with other doggos. Ozzi enjoys leashed walks, as well as doggy play dates. He plays nice with all dogs in public places, but can have a tendency to be a bit of a diva in home. He would do best with a female companion...or even being an only dog! All he asks is for plenty of love, interaction, and social time with some 4 legged buddies that he can romp around with.

Ozzi is a talker who makes the most adoprable squeeks and grunts when he is happy. He does bark at times but is easily redirected.
Oz started life as one in a litter of 9 who were dropped at a shelter with mange, parvovirus and were anemic. He is a survivor with a drive to love life and be his best self for whomever loves him back. He wants everyone to be his best friend, sometimes a little too enthusiastically! Cant blame a pup for trying, but he is working hard and getting better all the time with calm greetings and appropriate play energy.

Ozzi will make a wonderful companion for one very lucky person! He cant wait to show his most wonderful self!

Ozzi is currently fostered in Bellingham, WA and ready to meet you!!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
