Description:
Hi, I am Nash! I am a very handsome 9-month old chocolate lab and I weigh 55 pounds.

I am an active guy seeking an active family. Pouncing around chasing after butterflies, grasshoppers and lightning bugs is so much fun! Hiking in the woods on a longline, walking in the neighborhood and jogging with my humans are some of my favorite things to do. I really enjoy agility too and learning new things so I am looking for a family who wants to go to school with me. I would love to take basic classes and then get into some more exciting stuff, like trick training and nose work (aka scent work)!

I absolutely love playing with other young dogs, puppy playdates and riding in the car. I sleep well at night out of the crate and would prefer a family who is okay with me snuggling next to them on the bed or couch. Soft places to lay are so special to me because I did not have them before. I need a family who will brush me daily and trim my nails once a week so I can stay healthy. Squeaky toys, tennis balls and bones are the best doggie inventions ever! The Kong squeaky tennis balls are my favorites.

I would do best in a home where people were there to keep me company. I would love to have a furry brother or sister, but I would be okay by myself too.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
