Socks (45.8lbs.) is an 9 month old, Labrador Retriever mix that came into the rescue from rural Alabama. While this handsome dude is a bit shy at first, he is gentle towards everyone he meets. Once you earn his trust, Socks transforms into a dedicated canine companion. He loves to follow his favorite people around the house and is friendly with dogs of all sizes. Socks enjoys spending time in the fenced yard and napping in his crate. He is progressing nicely with basic training and is working on housebreaking. Socks would prefer a home with older children and a family who will be committed to continuing his socialization.
