Hi, my name is Breck (formerly known as Joe). I am a 75-pound handsome lab with a bunch of energy! I love my ball, toys, bones, cuddles, and scratches as I walk between your legs. I do well with other dogs, cows, and have not gotten close to cats (but I am curious). I love my foster’s kids (ages 9, 7, and 2) but sometimes I forget how big I am around the little one. I like to jump, but my foster mom has been working with me and I’m doing much better. I love water and swimming, and am learning to play fetch! I have been getting better at walking on a leash and will walk by your side with proper leash etiquette. Take me for long walks or runs or play ball at least twice a day and I will be happy and much calmer! I sleep in an extra large kennel all night long. I like to chew on Benebones or retriever rolls to keep me occupied. I am eager to learn and please you, so please be patient with me while you teach me. I can’t wait to find a lifelong companion to love forever! Breck has an extraordinary black/brown/grey coat and is one handsome fellow! He is very smart and very eager to work for food, so will be easy to train! If youd like to meet him, please complete the adoption application at www.scroungydogs.com. Breck is being fostered in a private home in Loveland, CO.
