Description:
This handsome guy came to us back in January 2021 from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center after he was brought in severely neglected and needed more medical care than the shelter was able to offer. He has been in an amazing foster home where we created a individualize treatment plan with our vets including slowly re-feeding him, treating the severe dehydration, anemia and intestinal parasite, which all points to showing he was subject to severe neglect prior to being rescued. Once he was deemed healthy he also got a full dental cleaning!

Long gone are the days of Remus sad past, he is now enjoying his life on the dog beach with his amazing foster, making friends, zooming around and loving life!

Remus loves other dogs but still learning how to properly introduce himself and can be goofy around other dogs at first. He is a great helper in the kitchen and loves to taste test all of the food you are cooking, who wouldnt want a helper like him?! He enjoys long walks and going to the beach, is incredibly sweet, handsome and looking for a furever home that will continue to spoil him as he deserves. Even though Remus foster home does not have any cats, he has met several on different occasions, and has even met chickens without a concern. He is truly such a well mannered young man! Remuss ideal home would be an active home that can continue to work with his basic manners and socialization and continue to spoil him like he deserves.
