Duke is a happy black lab / retriever mix. He is gorgeous and very friendly with people.  He is goofy and very playful. He loves tennis balls and he tries to drink water with his whole face. He loves attention and wants to please. Duke was found injured and he had leg surgery called a Femoral Head Osteotomy to allow him to walk pain free by removing the top of his femur. He has been doing very well with physical therapy and he is now ready for a home.  Duke weighs 72 pounds and is full grown with a birth date of 1/28/21. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. He seems to like other dogs but he hasn’t had the opportunity to play with them yet because of his leg healing. Duke is looking for a loving, inside home that can give him the love he deserves.
