MEET GUNNER!
Gunner was enjoying the comforts of a foster home and heres what they report:

All he wants is love and to give love.

Gunner is a snuggle bug with a big personality. He is funny, super loving and can be adorably dramatic.

His favorite place in the world is in your lap. He’s a playful pup who loves to fetch a ball, play tug or go for a run in the park. He’d make a perfect adventure buddy, as he’s always up for a car ride.
He loves going out to eat and is a very good boy, so that everyone will tell him how handsome he is and give him pets.

Sometimes on walks, he’ll just sit on a corner and watch everything that’s going on around him. He likes listening to the birds in the morning and chasing the lizards in the afternoon (luckily they are too quick for him).

He likes to sleep with his head on a pillow and at least one paw touching his human.

He can tell when you’re upset and will lie on top of you with his head right on yours.

When he isn’t getting what he wants he’ll stomp his little feet. Once he gives up, he dramatically sighs and gives you some serious side eye from the other side of the room.
He enjoys listening to music, watching Seinfeld and being read to when he can’t fall asleep.

He’s still got some puppy antics that will need some training, but he’s incredibly smart. He learns new tricks within 30 minutes (now when he wants a treat he lifts his paw in the air as to say “take it! I’m hungry!”)

He’s house trained, and knows several commands. He sleeps through the night in his crate, even though he’d rather sleep with you.
 He’s great on a leash.

Gunner can be a little protective of his humans when new people come over. However, he’ll be lying in between their feet as soon as he sees they’re nice. He tries to sound tough but his wiggly butt always gives him away. He’s even buddies with our mailwoman. Everyone he meets loves him. It’s hard to resist that cute little face.

If you have a lot of love to give and have the time and energy for a young sweet boy, please give Gunner the home he deserves.

Zeus Rescues is currently open by appointment with approved applicants only. Visit our website and complete an application here: https://zeusrescues.org/adoption_application/

Applications are not animal specific, as the animals in our adoption program change daily.
Once your application is approved, you will be contacted within a few days to set up an appointment to meet your forever friend. Your application will remain valid for 6 months, so no need to fill out multiple applications.

Once you meet your new fur-baby, you will be able to take the animal home for a week trial period to ensure a good fit before committing to adopt.

Zeus Rescues $200 adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, first round of vaccines including rabies vaccine, first round of flea and heartworm prevention.

*We assume our animals are house-trained as they dont like to soil their kennels and are used to going outside multiple times a day to relieve themselves. Of course with any change of environment, accidents can happen so we advise new adopters to establish a routine at the start. Dogs love routine and are fast learners.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
