Meet the very handsome Carl! Carl is about 2 years old and is a black Lab mix. He weighs in at about 50 pounds and has this gorgeous thick black shiny fur. He really does look all Lab but we believe he is a mix. Not that it matters to us, he is a wonderful dog! Carl was brought in as a stray with his buddy Stevie, a German Shepherd mix who is also available for adoption. We were shocked they were never claimed but they were both very thin when they arrived, especially Stevie. Carl is just a tad timid when he very first meets someone but VERY quickly warms up! All I did was pet his head and offer him a treat and we were fast friends. He is very well behaved, sits on command and takes treats gently. He is also a very loving and affectionate dog that loves to be hugged and loves pets. We believe he would do well with another dog however we do ask that you bring your dog along to meet him. He really is a great dog that is yearning for a home again and we hope that you will apply for him!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
