In shelter Dog

Savage, MN, 55378
Pet name:
Labrador Retriever
Hi! My name is Mattie!
When I first got to my foster home, I was pretty scared of all of the new things around me as I had never experienced living in a home before, but my foster family has shown me so much love and taught me that a house is a GREAT place to live!
I am a social butterfly and love to tag along with the older resident dogs at my foster home. I am the sweetest boy and I love chewing on bones! I also enjoy playing in the water and sometimes like to splash around in my water dish!

I started crate training in Alabama and am continuing here and doing great! I am learning basic commands, and I have already learned to sit. Great news, if you take me out regularly, I dont have any potty accidents in the house! Go me! I have not had any accidents in my kennel since being in Minnesota, even the very first night! I am kenneled overnight and during the day while my foster mom is at work, its my safe space to hang out.
I am an energetic pup who would love to meet you and become part of your furever home.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $575

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
