ABOUT HUNGARY
He is a lab mix just under 1 year old. He came to us from a high-intake shelter partner in Louisiana with his sister, Charlie. They were found wandering as strays in a nearby neighborhood. When no one came to claim them, the rescue began looking for a shelter that had space for them, which is how they made it to us! Although he came in with his sister, they are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. Hungary can be shy at first. We quickly learned that he is very confident with another pup around. He has been in playgroup with other dogs, which he loves. He has a very playful puppy personality. You can often find him chasing a toy or rolling in the grass. He walks well with a harness, knows basic commands, and loves toys! He has not met any cats yet. 


Be sure to check back for more, but again, please do not hesitate to submit a questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first come, best match basis and we cannot hold animals. If the animal you are looking to meet has been adopted before your visit, we will work with you to find another match! All household members (including current dogs for dog adoptions) must come for the meeting to ensure everyone gets along. If a match is made, you will take your new friend for life home that day! Our adoption fees include the animals spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started!
