Ahoy mates! I am Captain Morgan, the Blue & Gold Macaw. You can call me Captain for short. My age is a mystery, and I like it that way. My sex isnt known for certain by people, but they are guessing I am a male, because I chase the female macaws.  I am a big bird with lots of personality, I like talking to people and nodding with them. I am shy of hands, so I am picked up with a perch. Once I am comfortable with you, I will even perch on your lap! I like to get down on the floor and play, too. I came to BNW when my owner decided she couldnt take care of all of her birds anymore and needed to down size. I am eating a healthy diet of Zupreem pellets, fruit, veggies, and some nuts and seeds for treats. My adoption fee is $800.
