Date into Rescue: 8/18/2022 Reason for being in rescue: stray Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Marshmellow is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 09/02/22 he had a dental polishing. Weight: 10.3 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $399 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Marshmellow is looking for a home that has a heart as big as his, and doesnt mind making him the center of their universe. This little guy wants to be with his person at all times, preferably in their arms. He loves playing with other dogs, and would do great as part of a pack or as an only fur baby. Marshmellow is also fine with cats in the home. His grooming needs are high, and his new home must be willing to keep him brushed daily and trimmed routinely. He was found as a stray, so his hair was matted down to his skin which is why he is now shaved so short. A picture of him from the day he arrived is the last in the series to give you an idea of the potential he has once his hair begins to grow back out. What is my personality like? Marshmellow may be small in stature, but he loves bigger than you can imagine. He is so full of joy, and spreads it wherever he goes. You never see him without a big smile planted on his face. After a day of zoomies and playing with his favorite people and dog friends, he wants nothing more than to jump in your lap for lots of cuddle time. Marshmellow will also do just about anything for a treat, so use that to your advantage if he gets in a stubborn mood. When he sees food he typically will start to do his circus act for you, turn up the music and be ready to be entertained by his fabulous dance moves! How do I act when I first meet new people? Marshmellow is such a friendly little guy. He is always ready to share his smile. Other tips and tidbits: Marshmellow came to us as a stray, so we have no history on him. We celebrate his birthday as 8/18/2018. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesnt keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
