For my Petfinder.com friends, please contact the Shelter at (248) 858-1070 for more information. My ID number is 347512. I am available for adoption; however, due to my breed my adoption will have to be facilitated through a rescue organization. Please see the front desk staff or contact the Shelter at (248) 858-1070 for more information. Loving, gentle Montego needs a foster home! Montego is such a polite lover. He sits so well and patiently as he waits for a treat, which he takes so gently. He walks great on a leash and love exploring the outdoors! This gentle giant would love a warm & safe home where he can spend the rest of his days in comfort. Hes a big boy just looking for a comfy and cozy home! Do you have the love to give to Montego? This sweet boy needs your help finding a foster home. Please share him, talk about him, or consider visiting with him to see if he is the boy to complete your home and heart. This lovable doggo is heartworm positive and will start treatment soon (covered by the shelter). It would be so much easier for him to recover in a loving home. At this time, it is unknown how he will do in a home with cats, please take this into consideration. If your home already has a dog, a meet and greet will be set up prior to the adoption at the shelter. This will help us see if the dogs are a good match. Dog relationships can be just as complex and complicated as human relationships at times. We recommend separating any new additions in the home while unsupervised until a comfortable relationship has been established. The above behaviors and personality traits have been observed while at the Shelter. If this animal was relinquished, information is gathered from the owner regarding behavior. Our wonderful volunteers spend time with these animals and give input on behaviors and traits. However, this description may not be all inclusive to how this animal will act in a loving forever home. Introduction to established family pets should be slow and monitored always. The same goes for children and other family members. Adopting a pet is a big decision and should be thoughtful. We suggest researching different breeds to match traits and personalities to your lifestyle. When adopting a pet, please know that this pet will be with you for their lifetime; patience and consistency will make for a successful adoption. *Age is estimated** Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 77lbs Age: 8yrs 1mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
