Churro was rescued along with 5 other dogs from a neglectful situation. He has proved to be quite resilient and trusting of people and is adapting well to a home environment.

His ideal home will have a fenced yard as he is not at all comfortable on a leash and could be a flight risk. He is working on house training in his foster home, though occasionally marks. A belly band could help with this. As with all dogs, we expect there may be initial accidents once adopted. He gets along with other dogs and does okay with cats. He would probably do well with older children as well.
