Description:
This good boy was brought in as a stray in terrible condition. His foster has been working hard bringing this sweet old man back to life. Below is what his foster has to say about him. We have also attached some before and after pictures below.

Tom is an older fella at around 11 years old and is looking for a home that will continue to beef him up and provide endless belly rubs! He arrived at the shelter in terrible condition – he was emaciated and had open wounds, a broken leg, and significant hair loss from skin infections. Despite all this, he is a wonderful dog that loves people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. His leg still has some mending to do but he is putting on weight and his skin issues are clearing up very well. Tom absolutely loves cuddling and sprawling out on his back for belly rubs. He is playful and wants to run around more than his leg is capable of keeping up with at this point. He is pretty clumsy and a stairs free home would be ideal, or gated off from stairs where he could take a tumble in his excitement to be with his people. He is very good in his crate and an all around good boy who deserves the very best home to continue his recovery!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
