Reese had quite a scary start to life. He was born in an area with a stray dog population situation. We do not know exactly what happened, but the assumption is that he was attacked by a larger dog. He made his way to the door step of a teacher who contact local rescue. We transferred Reese into our shelter so that we could get him immediate medical attention. Reese is doing very well. His injury is healing and he is patient during routine cleaning. Reese enjoys playing with other dogs, however we ask that interested families participate in a meet and greet to ensure that they get along. Update! Reese has been in a foster home for a little over a month and is THRIVING! His two older canine "sisters" are teaching him so much and they absolutely adore him. He is so lucky to learn from stable, adult dogs. As lucky as he is, he is still in need of his forever family! Apply for this very special boy today and give him the life he has always deserved.
