Rosky is a gorgeous, silver-blue mixed breed pup in search of his forever home. He has all the makings to become a wonderful companion for some lucky person! Update from Roskys foster: Rosky has made a lot of progress in the last couple of days. He is still nervous but his confidence is increasing daily. His house-training skills are improving, too, and he is learning to engage and play with the dogs he meets while out and about. No signs of aggression and no barking. Now that he has settled in a little, his personality is really coming out. He’s such a great guy! Smart, polite and wants to please. Loves to play and engage with me, but adapts easily to quiet time too. He’s happy to play with his toys by himself or snooze at my feet -- though he has hinted that he’d really love to join me on the couch. He isn’t a big fan of the crate – at least not with its door closed – but I have been able to leave him alone in the house for 3-4 hours so far without problems. Walks really well on a leash, though he startles easily and is still timid meeting new people. I think he’d do particularly well in a home with a confident, older dog. But anyone who can give this guy a calm and loving home is going to be rewarded with a dream dog! History: Rosky came to our partner shelter in Mississippi as a stray, so not much is known about his past. Hes estimated to be about 1.5 years old, and is a nice medium size. Rosky is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and has a heart worm negative status.
