In shelter Dog

Monticello, MN, 55362
Pet name:
Mixed Breed
Odie is a 3-4 year old, 35 pound male mixed breed seeking a calmer home who wants a homebody dog. Previously an unclaimed stray in St. Paul, he came with a lot of bonuses... house trained, not a chewer, rarely barks, very affectionate. He also has some insecurities that show in the form of being too protective of his home/people. He is seeking someone who doesnt have a lot of company over, and is willing to crate him when people do come inside. Hes the perfect companion dog, he loves walks and attention and hanging out at home. Hes also a ball/fetch player, and loves it. If you have some experience working with a dog who gets protective, and have the ability to put him away when others visit, hes wonderful in every other way. He does fine with other people out and about, great at the vet and the park, just not great with strangers coming into his home. Please email

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
