Allen ACCT-A-122534 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to kennel stress and length of stay. Allen must have confirmed placement with an ADOPTER or RESCUE PARTNER by Saturday October 8th at 10 am. Should Allens medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. 

Allen is an approximately 1 year old male mixed breed dog that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 9/8. The person that found Allen said that he was a very nice, playful boy during the time that they had him, and was very gentle with their two small children. Allen seems to have a puppy mentality and will jump up and mouth when trying to play. 

At first when he was out with shelter staff, Allen would get overly aroused very easily, and jump up, hump, and leash bite if he got excited. Now, Allen has improved with this behavior by far, and rarely exhibits these issues now. Allen has had good dog meets at the shelter, and would do well with an adopter that is willing to provide him with structure and training.
