HISTORY: Willow and his siblings were rescued from a tragic situation. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!

NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Willow is a puppy so hes playful and has a lot of puppy energy! He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that he grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.

Willow loves to play. He loves to learn. He loves attention. He would be a wonderful agility dog when hes older as well as an avid jogger and hiking buddy. Hes very on the go and happy to be everywhere. He would definitely love having a canine companion but its not required as long as you give him plenty of time and attention. With his energy and vocalization, he may not be an ideal apartment dog if you are not a busy and active person. hes a young boy so more playful than affectionate. He is learning his manners but sometimes his excitement get the better of him; however, hes pretty treat motivated so that makes things easier. He loves being a part of the action but is also happy to entertain himself when necessary. This litter is a wonderful litter of happy, sweet and active puppies!

All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dogs particular needs.

Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet!
