Guerito is the dog in SFAS voted most popular and most likely to be hiding all the tennis balls. This guy is about a year plus. He is around 50 pounds. He was a homeless pup that has adjusted really well to the routine at SFAS. He has welcomed new dogs into his kennel and loves to show them the ropes! Guerito loves to play fetch and will jump super high to grab a tennis ball! But once he is done romping around, he is ready to lean in for pets and head scratches. We are puzzled why this fabulous guy is still here and we think he hasnt picked the family that is perfect for him! You just might be the perfect family! Do you have a lot of tennis balls? Do you want a smiling face to greet you when you suggest outlandish adventures? Guerito would be fine with other dogs, kids, and happy humans who will make him part of their family! If you have other dogs at home, we encourage you to bring them along for a Meet n Greet. Gueritos adoption fee is $130. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply. Santa Fe Animal Shelter is proud to partner with GoodPup! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
