Description:
This is Jack. Hes an older gentleman who would love to live out his golden years in a home where he can be the center of attention. He was originally adopted through BBRH and came back to us when an accident in his home led to his owners deciding to have him put to sleep if he couldnt be re-homed.

Because we are crazy dog-lovers, we found a foster home for Jack until his fur-ever home can be found. Hes doing very well in a house with 3 other dogs, but since he used to be an only dog, he would like to be The One for someone again. His foster mom does not have cats, but he does not seem to like the neighbors cat who sits in the window and taunts him. He is also an avid squirrel watcher who will sit for hours looking up into the tree.

Jack is a very good dog who loves to eat (which is why he is on a diet), loves treats, and playing tug. Hes very good about going in his kennel and will take his medicine easily when it is disguised in canned dog food. He has the ear problem most hounds have and will get an infection if his ears arent frequently cleaned. But he is good about getting his ears cleaned and will stand patiently while this is being done.

Will you be the one to welcome Jack into your home? Winter is coming soon and having Jack snuggle up to you could cut your heating bill in half.

Jack is up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350 and you can apply at www.bassetandbeagle.org

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
