Meet Kipper! Kipper, like any other small spunky boy, was brought into the shelter for being his own boss and not wanting to let others tell him what to do. Kippers ideal home would be consistent, focus on his daily routine, and allow him to be the only king of the castle. Kipper was previously adopted from us four years ago, but after he consistently provoked the bigger dog in the home, for safety reasons, his owner sadly had to return him. Kippers ideal home would have no other animals, allow him to decompress, and take things slow and on his terms. While in our care, Kipper has done well with staff and his volunteer buddies. He walks well on leash, but like most small dogs, he will need continued work on his housebreaking. We feel a home with low-key energy, plenty of couch cuddles, and someone who is home more than most would be ideal for this adorable little senior boy. If you have the love, patience, and true understanding of the home Kipper is so ever longing for, please apply to meet him!
