Description:
Meet Little Man!

Little Man is a 5-year-old and 21 pound, Yorkshire/Norfolk Terrier mix. He is a pretty special boy looking for a pretty special forever home. He takes some time to warm up with a new person and would most likely need more than one meet to bond with that person(s). Little Man would do best in a home where he can be independent, but with someone that will still show him the affection he would feel most comfortable with.

Little Man would need a home with no children and would still need to have a physically, fenced in yard that attaches to the home, as he still struggles with putting on a collar and a leash. Once he feels comfortable being leashed, he loves to go on walks but just doesnt realize he is actually running and would love someone that could keep up with him. Little Man does a great job at keeping his kennel clean and knows right where to go when he hears the word "potty." He gets pretty anxious when it comes to vet appointments, so he would need to be completely sedated when it comes to him getting nail trims, haircuts, or even vaccinations. He is a really friendly boy, once you get to know him, and he will even greet you with a cute waggy tail and will even crawl into your lap to give you kisses, if he doesnt already have a toy in his mouth. He loves his little bed and his bin of small toys that he can get into at any time he pleases. Little Man would need a home that will be patient with him, as he learns to bond with his new family, and will take the time to learn about his special needs, to give him the best shot at a new life. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
