Yes, he is very handsome and he is lots of fun! He loves his toys and his special bone. He likes to sit in your lap, or I should say make a flying leap on to your lap, chew his bone, and watch a bit of TV. He also likes the toilet paper roll so be sure to keep the door closed at all times. Morning means a walk, weather permitting. The minute he sees his harness hes ready to go. After his walk is breakfast. He waits patiently for a bite at the bottom of his foster dads bowl. We call him Clifford, the big red dog. Clifford is a two year old red and white fluffy Pembroke Corgi. He is a fun guy. Fluffies require more grooming. That means a good brush out a few times a week, and the groomer every 8-10 weeks. It takes a lot of work to maintain a handsome red boy.

The only thing that Clifford doesnt like is other dogs. Nope. He doesnt need them. Hes a bit of an introvert. He is perfectly happy with his family. He also doesnt like to be approached by strangers, especially children. He will turn and walk away quickly. His perfect home would be a quiet two person home with someone who will give him time to warm up and get into a routine. It took him a couple of weeks at his foster home. Then he was happy and fun and lap sitting.

Clifford is neutered, chipped, up to date on vaccines and every other thing that one may think of. We require a securely fenced yard, no electronic fences. No small children. Previous dog experience is a plus. The adoption fee is $350.00. Contact claireelzabeth@petssecondchance.org for more information.
