Tyson is an appropriately 2 yr old pittie mix. He’s a playful dog who needs worked with and training on how to play and walk on a leash. We do not recommend any young kids in the house where he is adopted, as he can get a little excited. He has not been tested with other dogs, a meet and greet would be needed for another dog. We recommend he go to a home with someone who is experienced with dogs and can work with him. 

Please call the Ashland County Dog Shelter at 419 289-1455 to schedule a meet and greet! We are not currently open for walk-ins due to COVID. Adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am to 6pm. Hours may vary on holiday weeks.

Each $100 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, current dog license, heartworm test, microchip, collar and leash. 

All dogs are listed as spayed/ neutered indicating that will be done as part of the adoption process if not already done at the time of posting. Most shelter dogs are difficult to classify as house-trained or not due to they often have to wait long times between potty breaks.
