Pit Bull Terrier

Samson is a 5 year old, 65 lb. cuddle bug. He is a big lover boy that adores people - both big and small. He is the most loyal dog you can have, and will want to be everyones best friend within seconds of meeting them. He is looking for a family that will appreciate his laid back, couch potato lifestyle. He enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood or playing fetch in the backyard. After playtime, he will curl up in your lap and give you lots of kisses before taking a long nap.

Samson is a smart boy and loves to learn new commands. He has already mastered commands like "sit", "crate", "lets go bye bye" and "its time to eat". He is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He is well behaved when he is left out of his crate and doesnt chew on anything hes not supposed to, but he likes to have his safe space available when he needs some time to reflect on life.

Samson can be dog-selective with larger dogs (we think they scare him because he doesnt realize hes a big boy himself) and he is NOT reactive to other dogs on walks. He does get along better with small dogs that he meets with a slow, proper introduction and does just fine walking past other dogs in public. He is not a fan of cats at all. We do recommend that he goes to a home with no other pets at this time.

Due to his large size and happy wiggle butt, he should not go to a home with small children since he may accidentally knock them over. He would do great with older children who love to snuggle and will play fetch with him.

TRANSPORT: Currently we have monthly transports. It will be up to the adoptive family to meet the transport to pick up your new family member. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot bring dogs for a typical meet and greet situation, due to the extensiveness of the transport distance and it being unfair for the dogs who are not adopted to have to make the trip back.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our puppies and dogs, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received. Once we send you an application, your place in line does not get reserved until your application is returned to us.

Adoption Fee is $505, which includes $275 adoption fee and a $230 transport fee. The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, neuter, and health certificate.

All microchips registered with Findpet can be traced internationally through the American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) universal pet microchip lookup, ensuring your pet's safety at home or during travel.
