Scooby came to Dog Town from the Stillwater Reservation about 6 years ago. He was very apprehensive around humans, but never tried to bite when handled. With patience and love, we have gotten him to walk nicely on a leash, to accept being petted, and he enjoys being around people. 
He has what appears to be a scar from a rope burn around his waist, which could explain his reserved behavior. 
Scooby is going to be happiest in a home where he can hang out, hes a low energy guy but does enjoy going for leashed walks. Hes an independent kind of guy, probably because he had to fend for himself for many years.  
Anyone would be lucky to have this gentle guy as part of their family.
