Hi, my name is Tom Bodett and I’ll leave the light on for ya…. In all seriousness, I, along with another dog, were abandoned at a local hotel and some awesome police officers got us to MVPC. I am a beautiful boy, and very devoted to my people. I love to play, and am quite active, but I am also a lover through and through. I love people and my only goal is to make you happy. While I get along with other dogs outside the home, inside the home, I get nervous around them. I am working on this in professional training! I am very strong and will need a family that will continue my training and take me on adventures to get my energy out, but dog beds and jammies are also much appreciated! And don’t worry, I’ll still happily travel with you…hotels and all.

ADOPTION FEE: $200 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)

I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $200 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

ADOPTER: Dog experience
BIRTHDAY: est Dec 2020
FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment)
DOGS IN HOME: preferred an only dog, as I get nervous
CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over

INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25.

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
