TOFU (bonded with Nalah)

In shelter Dog

Dunn Loring, VA, 22027
Pet name:
TOFU (bonded with Nalah)
Pit Bull Terrier
Tofu is almost 2 years old (Sept 2020), and is full of life, joy and all good things. Sadly, his boy is losing his family due to a myriad of issues stemmed from a divorce.

Nalah (Rhodisian Ridgeback), his dear friend & sister, is all he has left. The pair is very bonded, and they are looking for a new family where they would MAYBE like to stay out of trouble together.

This pitt mix is great with kids and other pets, and just like his older sister, bunnies are his kryptonite and activate his prey drive. Both he and Nalah hunt them together.

Tofu is crate trained and knows less than a handful of commands like sit and stay (he performs much better when there is a treat involved). This boy loves to cuddle on the couch, bed, or wherever he is allowed to sit/lay down next to a human, but listens and honors boundaries well.

Mr Tofu is extremely loving and a total attention seeker! He also accommodates well to any lifestyle (provided he has Nalah to play with). Both pups are food & treat driven, however they are not aggressive in any way.

Both pups enjoy daily walks, playtime and naptime.

Areas this canine toddler could work on...jumping when greeting someone at the door, and chewing on things when left alone for too long. Also, like his sister, he enjoys chew toys, although they dont typically last too long.

Nalah and Tofu are a bonded pair and have been inseparable since they first met. Whenever one of them goes somewhere without the other (like the vet), they mope until the other comes back. The joy is evident and even contagious when they are reunited. Truly two peas in a pod.

If you would like to learn more about Tofu (and Nalah), send an inquiry... or better yet, apply online!

IMPORTANT; These pups are located in Houston, and the adoption fee includes transport to your state.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
