Meet Hondo! Hondo is one of our longer-term dog residents here at ICHS. Unfortunately, he found his way back to the shelter, no fault of his own though! Were hoping this sweet boy can find a home that sticks this time. Hondo is a playful doggo who loves to be active and go on walks. When he isnt doing that, he enjoys belly surfing down the grassy hill behind the shelter on sunny days or receiving all the belly rubs that he can from the shelter staff! 

When Hondo first came into our shelter he had no fur. He began eating lamb & rice dog food and his fur started growing back right away! He most likely has allergies that caused him to lose his fur so he will need to stay on a good diet to prevent future problems! As of now though, he has it all under control and is looking great!

Hondo keeps a clean cage here at the shelter as well. So, he is likely to be housetrained but may need a refresher when he gets to his new home. Hondo would also prefer to be the only pet in the home. Dont let this worry you though, he has MORE than enough love to give!!
