Description:
Hiya! My name is Santino. I am around 1 year old and 54 pounds. I can be timid when we first meet, but I just need a little time to warm up. The shelter is a scary place and I am working on my confidence. I am sweet and seek out attention. I know sit and take treats so gently. Once I am comfortable with you, Ill even give kisses. I think I would prefer a calmer home with no young children. I arrived at the shelter as a stray, so unfortunately not much is known about me, like if I get along with animals. Thats okay though, because we can learn these things together and so much more! The shelter does offer a Cuddle Before You Commit program to ensure I am the right fit for you! Please remember, slow and proper introductions are always best to set me up for success. **Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. You can include multiple animals you are interested in on one application. Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our FABULOUS PETS! We hope to see you soon, The IACS Adoptions Team.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
