Hi! My name is Roman but close friends call me Ro Ro!

*cat friendly*
*big/small dog friendly*
*people friendly*

I am currently being fostered by an amazing lady who already had 4 dogs and 4 cats in her home. I am about a year old (42 pounds) and a big goofball of a pup.

Personal space u say....whats that?! I am VERY affectionate to my human. I like to stay close to my human to the point where I am a constant shadow, but I will most likely lay right next to you when you are on the couch. I luv kisses, head rubs and I will make sure that you get the right spot.

All of the animals here are much older and I get along with everybody even if I get on their nerves. From time to time I like to play with the cats even if they dont want to. I even take their swatting at me as a sign of playing, my foster mom gives me strict "no" or sprays water on me and then I stop. She also thinks I will be a great fit with a family with older kids (7+) and while I would luv to have a four paw sibling I can enjoy the perks of being the only child!

I am being crate trained which has been an adjustment but better than I thought because my foster mom trusts me enough to leave me out at night. She kennels me when she goes to work and I still whine for about 10-15 minutes but eventually I do settle down. The TV being on usually helps with the quietness. I do better when I have my Kong with peanut butter and a couple of other toys!

I am able to adjust to just about any lifestyle but I see myself as an active, outdoors kinda guy; dont get me wrong I enjoy laying around like a couch potato but i need to burn sum of this energy! I would prefer a fenced in backyard to be able to run around and do the zoomies. I do well on my walks and my foster momma is helping me with leash work and pulling! Im doing AMAZING!

Vet: I get a bit anxious at the vet but my foster momma encourages me that everything will be okay. There are so many SMELLS here and lots of other pups.

Car: I luvssss car rides. I am told I am an excellent car rider. I will stay in the back seat and/or hammock and relax after a few minutes.

Food: Very food motivated, I mean who isnt! With a bunch of other animals around my mom prefers to feed me in my safe zone which is my kennel (we highly recommend feeding this way).

All Dogs so far: yes. Like I said b4, I can be a bit overwhelming at first but after awhile i will settle down and be the chill, happy-go-lucky, lowkey guy u will luv!

People: Very friendly to all adult humans, Ive never been around kids or babies but Im sure I will do just fine with them! I wont hurt anybody.

Demenour: playful, energetic, bouncy, chill, laid back. Im a big kid at heart!

**We will be looking for active adopters & someone who has patience/energy that comes with handling a teenage pup!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone!

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives.

They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes!

By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
