Hi, Im Yankee! I have a bright white coat with some dark brown spots, and Im on the smaller side for a pittie. Im told I have a big head, so maybe I will grow into it. Im still a puppy and have lots of puppy energy. I am very curious and like to explore the world, and I have a healthy dose of caution to go along with it (which means I sometimes get scared by new things, especially if they make weird noises). I dont want to brag, but Im a smart boy and I listen pretty well, though sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. I am OBSESSED with squirrels and love to chase them around the yard. While on walks, I will lunge after any squirrel I see, so make sure you hold on tight. With enough practice, Im sure I can learn to walk properly on a leash. I like getting praise and wont turn down the occasional treat either. Remember, Im a puppy, so you need to teach me the right way to behave.

Overall, Im a pretty good boy. I dont bark often, but if I see a neighbor come outside or someone walk down the street, I might say something about it. Ive gotten a lot better about meeting people, too. I used to be scared and bark at them, but Im mostly over that now and I just want pets. Im a big fan of cuddling and belly rubs, and Ill give you tons of kisses to show how much I enjoy it. Sometimes my kisses come with teeth, but Im learning to control that. I dont want to hurt you; I just get so excited! Im also a stage five clinger and prefer to be no more than six inches from my foster moms heels at all times.

I love to wrestle and chase my foster fur brother. Since Im still learning how to play, I would need a doggy friend with a similar rough playstyle and who is patient with me. I take verbal corrections from my foster mom but playing is so much fun that I forget Im not supposed to bite. I will share toys if needed, but I prefer to steal whatever my foster brother is playing with. So far, I have not shown signs of resource guarding. I spend most of the day napping in my kennel while my foster parents work (even though I would much rather be playing non-stop). At night, I sleep in the kennel and dont make a fuss. I am potty trained, too! I know I have a lot to learn, and with your help I can be the best boy ever!
