Apollo is in need of a home with someone who has a huge heart. He has progressive kidney disease and probably only has about a year of quality life left. We are heartbroken to receive this prognosis for Apollo. He is such a great dog and deserves to be pampered for the short time he has left.

Sadly, Apollo is in need of a hospice home. He needs to be on a prescription renal diet dog food, daily medication of an ace inhibitor, and should have his kidneys tested about every 3 months.

We are hoping to find someone, or a rescue, with a huge heart that has a soft spot for these types of cases. You would never know Apollo is sick because he is so friendly, energetic, and quite a lover boy. His tail is always wagging, even if you just make eye contact with him. Apollo loves to be with people, and will likely snuggle up with you on the couch. Apollo loves to play with his toys and chew on nylabones. He would prefer being the only pet in the home. Apollo is good with kids, neutered, and UTD on vaccines.
