Hey friends, Mr. Axel here! I’m wondering if my requirements are causing people to hesitate on applying to meet me. I’m a really loving and playful pup at heart, but like most dogs in rescue, I have a sad history. Other dogs haven’t always treated me kindly, so I’m pretty nervous around them. I don’t know if I’ll ever learn to be comfortable around other dogs after some time, patience, love, and training, so I definitely need to be your one and only for the foreseeable future. I also need a home with older kids. It’s not because I’m mean to little kids. I love people! I’m just a goofy, fun-loving pup that really likes to play, but I don’t always realize that my style of playing isn’t appropriate with littles. My humans tell me I’m bigger and stronger than I realize. I definitely don’t want to knock over a little kid and hurt them! My forever family will have to be dedicated to continuing training with me. I’m a sweet guy with tons of potential. I’m still a puppy and need to continue to learn my manners. These requirements are here to make sure that my next family is my forever. I can’t wait to start the next and best chapter of my life!
