Meet Reese! He is a great dog- he just needs someone whos looking for a sweet soul like him and to give him a chance! He came in to us on 8/1/22. Reese was owner surrendered to us after a change in life circumstance. He is a American Pitbull Terrier/German Shepherd mix. He weighs in at about 61 pounds and is 1 year old. Reese is a really sweet boy, he lacks confidence and looks to his humans for direction. He listens well and wants to please you. Reese needs his new human to be able to give him positive praise, a bit of training and structure. He needs some help with socializing, to help him to be a more confident adult. He is very treat motivated, and is potty & kennel trained. Reese is overall friendly when he knows he can trust you and is a very loving boy! We have found he can be a bit dog selective, but has played well with another friendly, submissive young male dog here at FCAC. We believe a laid back, outgoing dog in his new home - would be beneficial to help him with his confidence. Reese is a little too interested in cats, so we recommend that there are no kitties in his new home. He does love kids, and will do fine around older, less busy kids who know how to be respectful of a dogs space. Reese is Neutered, Heartworm Negative, up to date on vaccines and on monthly prevention. His adoption fee is normally $80 but has had a $25 sponsorship! Reeses adoption fee is now just $55. The first step in our adoption process is to submit an application which can be found here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet!
