Description:
He may have had a tough past, but that hasn’t stopped Buddy from being an exuberant dog who loves life and every human he meets! He has some trouble walking due to his old injuries, but he gets around well in his helper harness or his wheeled cart (If you adopt one, you get the other for free)! Buddy’s favorite thing in the world is cuddling with volunteers and staff members. Tennis balls and snacks are a close second. This amazing boy has made lots of progress in learning to be more independent and less anxious, but he still needs an owner who will be home with him a lot. He would prefer to be the only pet in the home after a previous incident.

If you’re interested, come meet Buddy and see just how resilient and loving a dog can be.

If your family sounds like the perfect one for me, please send a message to the adoption team (my personal assistants) at adoption@sdsanctuary.com to have them put your appointment on my busy schedule.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
